Question tags are short questions added to the end of a statement to seek confirmation or agreement. They are commonly used in
spoken English and informal writing.
Structure of Question Tags: Main statement + Auxiliary verb (or main verb ‘be’) + Subject pronoun?
Rules for Forming Question Tags: Positive Statement + Negative Tag: If the main statement is positive, the question tag is negative.
Negative Statement + Positive Tag: If the main statement is negative, the question tag is positive.
